Who We Are

Manna Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the United States. We are a Christ-centered nonprofit dedicated to reaching the forgotten, the weak, and those who cannot provide for themselves. Our mission is to meet urgent physical needs—through food, clothing, basic survival resources, and discipleship packets—with the deeper hope of meeting spiritual needs as well. As we serve with compassion, we point every heart toward the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

To embody the love of Christ by serving the overlooked and vulnerable. We meet practical needs like food, clothing, and survival resources, with the ultimate goal of leading souls to Jesus through compassion and discipleship.

Our Vision

To see lives transformed by the love of Christ—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We envision communities where the poor are fed, the forgotten are seen, and every person has the opportunity to encounter Jesus. Through consistent outreach and discipleship, we aim to build a legacy of hope that reaches generations.

Our Why

We serve because we’ve been there. Our founder knows what it feels like to be overlooked and in need—and it’s that lived experience that fuels our compassion. We believe no one should go without food, clothing, or hope. Through Manna Mission Ministries, we’re called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, meeting physical needs so hearts can be opened to the gospel.

What We Do

Clothing & Basic Needs
We provide clothes, hygiene kits, and essential survival items like blankets, toiletries, and footwear to those living on the streets or in crisis. Meeting these basic needs helps restore dignity and comfort in hard times.

Evangelism & Outreach

We share the message of the Gospel through one-on-one conversations, discipleship packets, and gospel tracts. Our goal is to build trust, offer prayer, and point people to the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.

Food & Fellowship
We offer food and take time to sit, listen, and eat with those we serve. Sharing food is more than provision—it’s an act of love that builds relationship and reminds people they are seen and valued.

Our Origin Story

Manna Mission Ministries was founded by Chalfonte Lark, a devoted servant of God from the United States, whose journey began with a deep, personal calling to live a life of purpose and compassion. While he initially pursued biblical studies, Chalfonte stepped away from Bible school, sensing that God was still preparing his heart for something greater. In the years that followed, he built a career in the insurance industry, helping people secure their futures—but even as he found professional success, a deeper spiritual hunger continued to grow.

Chalfonte knows firsthand what it feels like to be overlooked and in need. It's this personal experience that ignited his passion to serve the forgotten and the broken—those often left behind by society. As he grew in faith, God placed a clear mission on his heart: to reach out to the homeless and less fortunate by offering food, clothing, care, and the hope found in Christ.

Obedient to that calling, he began ministering in the United States and officially registered Manna Mission as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to build a lasting foundation for the work. That mission has since expanded beyond borders, leading him to Asia, where he now serves in the Philippines—meeting physical needs and sharing the gospel with love, humility, and boldness.
